Wedding Expo at the Hynes January 2011

This past weekend I was at the Hynes Convention Center for the 12th Annual Bridal Expo put on by Jenks Productions. I met some amazing couples and had a great time. I got to try some delicious cake from The Bean Counter, hear some great music from World Premiere Band, and try out the photobooth that was provided by Shutterbooth.

I took some pictures of my booth and of the expo.

I love my DIY centerpeices. simple and easy and inexpensive. I ususally work with a florist and have them put together a few arrangements for me. But I really enjoy doing this stuff on my own.
Above is the Shutterbooth photobooth that I went in and took a few pictures. I LOVE the photo booth idea, and plan on having one at my own wedding.
World Premiere Band performed twice throughout the day- very entertaining!!

One booth at the expo was a man that makes different things out of balloons. I didnt catch his name, but I took a picture of his bride and groom balloon people.

Just a few thoughts...

Other than the fact that I am in love with David Tutera, I have a feeling that this season of My Fair Wedding is going to be ridiculous. This past Sunday's was outrageous, and now that he has become so popular a ton of people want to get involved in his weddings.

They just filmed at the La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs (which is part of the Hilton Family), and I only know that because my old boss now works there. Super excited- and jealous.

I found my dress!!!! I am debating whether or not to post it online because I do not know if my Fiance looks at my blog or not.. but maybe I will post it soon. Now I have to figure out bridesmaid dresses and I am not sure if I want to do long or short. And we are meeting with a photographer on Monday. Lots of planning going on, and I am looking forward to planning my own and 2011 at the hotel.

I love this time of year, with newly engaged couples after the holidays, they are interested in having a tour of the hotel and learning more about our packing, meeting new people and talking about weddings is my favorite thing in the world.

I always have time for wedding chat- so feel free to call or email me anytime!
